ROSKILDE FESTIVAL- LINEUP ANNOUNCED FOR STREET

Street City is the urban heart of the city of Roskilde Festival. This is where you’ll find the best street parties, dance shows, skate, graffiti and much more. The area also offers a stage with some of the most exciting new and established urban acts, and the line-up for this stage has just been announced Danish hip hop underground and international talents Immortal Sound Selectors kick things off on the festival’s very first night, sharing their eclectic vinyl collections. The girls are taking over on Sunday with Girls Are Awesome, a night that offers Baby Blood and English underground hero Tommy Genesis. Soundvenue Shout-Out is the day the Danish hip hop underground takes over, and it all comes together for a final party on Tuesday with surprise guests. Host: Ali Sufi Tuesday 28 June 8pm-midnight: TUESDAY GET DOWN Khalazer – Pizzagang – Emil Kruse – Jaqe (SE) – Young Bong – Johnson – Satans Trap Yngel (Nonsens, Eloq, Fabian Mazur) + Surprises. Host: Pelle Peter Jensen Skaters, body painters and dance battles During the day Street City offers both shows and competitive skateboarding, BMX, wheelchair skate and rollerblading by both Danish and international profiles – flying higher than most, we might add. The shows on the ramps are followed by dance workshops with The Funktastics, involving the audience for both dancing and breakdance, hip hop and dancehall battles.
